Reflecting and reviewing the work I have thus far created, I come to recognize certain patterns of creation. After contextualizing my work and delving into the processes behind each facade I have come to the conclusion that I have always--though recently  more refined--created monsters, creatures and demons in my artwork and habitually returned to themes of the macabre. Reading the electronic ant by Philip K. Dick makes you question what is accepted as the reality in which you live. I love the futuristic vocabulary used in the short narrative because it really puts you in an environment reminiscent of our own New York but somehow entirely different also. I liked the vocabulary for vehicles and currency and other such items, like frogs and squibs. Finding out that Poole himself is a half human half machine hybrid he begins t tinker with his reality tape, playing with how he as a mechanism perceives the world around him, or more exactly how this mechanism replicates a individual reality for his own programming
